If you are comfortable enough, of course, directly discussing your kinks can be better. However, many people are afraid their partner might not welcome their fetishes and many people are just shy. Besides, thanks to its extensive question bank, the questionnaire also allows people to consider new possibilities and ideas. You can be surprised by your results. There are two precautions that can counter this behavior:

1. If they mark their interest in a suspicious manner, meaning they give the same answer to most of the questions, they are warned. If they continue, and you do not exhibit similar behavior, the results are only shown to you, but you can choose to allow your partner to see the results by themselves. They also cannot access your results through your referral link (which would normally redirect you to the results page if the referral link is already used).
2. You can mark a question as "hesitant." What it does is that if your partner marks the corresponding question as neutral ("open to try"), it does not produce a match. So, your partner can only see your answer if they have an explicit interest in it. However, you must be careful to not mark most of the questions as "hesitant" due to the previously explained mechanics, or you might be the one who is blocked from seeing the results.

Kinktwin has some advantages over similar websites:

• The questions cover a wide variety of interests. At the same time, they do not drown you in details.
• It has a modern and slicker design. The questions take minimal spaces so that it takes less time to complete an item while the questions are also paginated so that navigation is easier. You can easily scan neatly grouped questions and only deal with the ones that interest you.
• It has many directed and paired questions, and contrary to some other websites, they work correctly. For example, if both you and your partner are interested in only giving oral sex, the questionnaire does not produce a match. It only produces a match if you are interested in giving oral sex while your partner is interested in receiving (or vice versa).
• While there are certain precautions for abusive behaviors, it is not coercive. If one of the partners is blocked from viewing the results, the other can manually allow them from the results page.
• It is gender inclusive. Although you can use the question filters for convenience, you do not need to provide any information about your genitals to use it.

If the results were generated more than a week ago, your results may be deleted from the system for maintenance reasons, as indicated. Please print your results as the results page is printer-friendly, or save the page in PDF.

If your results are not deleted yet, you still have your referral link, and one of the partners is not blocked from viewing the results; you can retrieve it through the referral link as it will redirect you to the result page. Otherwise, you cannot retrieve it.

While it is extensive, some subjects/kinks are grouped to minimize the clutter and confusion. For example, it could be helpful to include each sex position, but it would overwhelm users and cause them to constantly go back and forth to check what each position means. If you have a match about a not-so-specific subject, you can communicate further with your partner. It would still be helpful since you would feel relaxed while discussing your kink, knowing that you are both interested. It might also be possible that the subject in your mind is not included in the questionnaire for legal, ethical, or rarity concerns.
